At Quartersawn Customs all of our products are crafted from solid wood.  We refuse to use plywood, chipboard, or veneers.  Every piece is hand made.  The stock for each project is meticulously selected for its aesthetic and structural qualities.  Each item is taken from rough sawn lumber to finely finished product by a single person.  This ensures that the strict and precise standards of our company are adhered to from start to finish.  While power tools are utilized in the initial milling process, all fine tuning and assembly is done with hand tools, following traditional methods.  The pieces are built using a minimal amount of mechanical fasteners, (screws, nails, etc.) and are designed to remain stable and beautiful in any environment, from the cold dry winters of the Northwest to the hot humid summers of New England.
